Composition
Each 1 mL of VICTOZA solution contains 6 mg of liraglutide with inactive ingredients. Each pre- filled pen contain 3 mL solution of VICTOZA equivalent to 18 mg liraglutide
Indications
It is indicated to treat type 2 diabetes
Side effects
Mild to moderate side effect have been observed such as urinanry tract infection, high blood pressure, influenza, pruritus.
Precautions
This drug is to be cautiously used in patients with kidney liver disease, thyroid disorder, pregnancy and lactation
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with medullary thyroid carcinoma, multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2
Dosage and administration
In adult 0.6 mg administrated subcutaneously for one week
