Composition
Each ml contains insulin glargine I.P 100 I.U. m- Cresol 0.27% w/v excipients
Indications
It is indicated in adult and pediatric patients to control the blood sugar level in type 1 diabetes and adults with type 2 diabetes
Side effects
Mild to moderate side effect has been observed such as rash, edema, lipodystrophy, pruritus, weight gain
Precautions
This drug is to be cautiously used in patients with liver disease, kidney disease, fever pregnancy, and breastfeeding
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in people with ketoacidosis, hypersensitivity, severe hypoglycemia
Dosage and administration
In adults and child 10 IU dose is administrated subcutaneously once daily at the same time every day
