It is indicated to control high blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes

Precautions
This drug is to be cautiously used in patients with kidney disease, liver disease, pregnancy, and lactation
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in people with severe kidney disease, diabetic ketoacidosis, and allergic reaction.
Dosage and administration
It is available as 5mg/2.5mg/1000mg, 12.5 mg/2.5mg/1000mg, 10mg/5mg/1000mg, and 25mg/5mg/1000mg respectively. In adults, the usual dose consists of a single tablet of 10mg/5mg/1000mg or 25mg/5mg/1000mg to be given once daily with a morning meal and two tablets of 5mg/2.5mg/1000mg or 12.5 mg/2.5 mg/1000mg once daily
