Composition
Each mL of Dyclonine HCL topical solution, USP, 0.5% contains dyclonine HCL 5 mg, chlorbutanol and sodium chloride.
Indications
It is indicated in throat pain.
Side effects
Mild to moderate side effect has been observed such as mouth irritation, breathing difficulty, swelling in face and mouth.
Precautions
This medicine is to be cautiously used in patients with allergic reaction pregnancy and breast feeding.
Contraindications
This drug is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity.
Dosage and administration
The usual adult dose consist of 2mg lozenge to be given in every 2 hours.
